Ethics, Law Office Management and Professionalism for New Practitioners - WED., APRIL 24!!

ATTENTION!! RECENTLY ADMITTED MEMBERS OF THE LA STATE BAR - This CLE program has been planned to acquaint recent law school graduates with many of the practical aspects of a law practice and to afford newly admitted active members of the Louisiana Bar the opportunity to obtain their mandatory continuing legal education.

Join us for this timely program, presented by skilled, highly respected practitioners to learn practical information that hopefully will serve you well throughout your legal careers.

The compliance requirement for newly admitted attorneys is 12.5 hours, including 8 hours of ethics, professionalism or law office management, which can be earned in the year of admission or the following calendar year. The eight hour component can be earned using any combination of these credits.

This program has been approved for a maximum of 8 hours of CLE credit, including 4.75 hours of ethics, 1.75 hours of professionalism and 1.5 hours of law office management.

► APRIL 2013 NEWLY ADMITTED ATTORNEYS: $150
(Registrants admitted April 2013 MUST download the Registration Form and submit to LSBA. New Admittees CANNOT register online, as an email address is REQUIRED. The link to download the electronic seminar materials will be emailed to the email address on the Registration Form.)

► Attorneys Admitted to Practice Less than 2 Years: $150
(The link to download the electronic seminar materials will be sent to the email address of record you provided to the LSBA.)

► All Others: $295
(The link to download the electronic seminar materials will be sent to the email address of record you provided to the LSBA.)

► Printed manual: $40

► Flash Drive: $25

The fee includes electronic course materials, seminar attendance and coffee/soda breaks.

Important Note: A link to the seminar materials will be emailed to you prior to the seminar; we suggest you print the materials in advance and bring them with you. If you choose to review the materials from your laptop, we strongly suggest you save to your desktop and charge your laptop battery, as electrical outlets may be limited. Internet access will not be available in the meeting room.

Cancellation of registration must be received in writing by the LSBA no later than April 19. Cancellations will receive a full refund, less a $25 administrative charge. Absolutely no refunds will be made after April 19.
