Nomination Deadline is Feb. 28 for 2013 Catherine D. Kimball Award
The nomination deadline is Thursday, Feb. 28, for the 2013 Catherine D. Kimball Award for Advancement of the Administration of Justice. The annual award — established by the LSBA to honor Catherine D. Kimball, the first woman to serve as chief justice of the Louisiana Supreme Court — recognizes an individual who has done exemplary work in advancing the administration of justice in Louisiana. The award is open to both attorneys and judges. In addition to presenting a plaque to the individual, as a lasting tribute, a larger plaque will be displayed at the Louisiana Supreme Court to list new recipients of the award each year.
